My name is Dr. Michael W. Fuqua. Welcome to our family practice. I am a native of the Rio Grande Valley. I was born in Weslaco and grew up in Edinburg. I graduated Edinburg High School in 1980 and Pan American University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. I graduated from the University of Texas Dental School at Houston in 1990 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
I have been practicing dentistry since July 1990 and I am the owner of Advanced Dental Associates in Harlingen and Weslaco since October 1991. I have served the Rio Grande Valley Dental Society as Delegate to the Texas Dental Association, Hidalgo County Director, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President and President.
I am married to Laura Fuqua and ours sons Blake attends St. Joseph Academy at Brownsville and Miles attends Texas A&M University at College Station. I believe that what sets us apart at Advanced Dental Associates are the relationships we form with our patients. We provide quality care with a family feel.

I enjoy helping our patients schedule their appointments and understand their insurance coverage and benefits. When I’m not serving our patients, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and traveling.
